The Active Offer of French Language Health Services: Why It Matters and How to Put It Into Practice – Modules 1-3-YT-EN
Welcome to this online training on the active offer of rench language health care services. This training was developed by the Réseau du mieux-être francophone du Nord de l’Ontario (Réseau) and adapted by the Partenariat communauté en santé (PCS) for the Yukon context.
- Training goals:
- Raise awareness among health care providers about the value of actively offering health services in French in the Yukon;
- Raise awareness about the important role each person plays in ensuring increased availability of health services in French;
- Promote the safety and quality of person-centered care in the interest of health equity.
Terms and Conditions
You are about to begin the training Active Offer of French Language Health Services: Why It Matters and How to Put It Into Practice. At the end of each Module, questions will test your comprehension of the content. You will then be asked if that content meets the stated learning objectives at the beginning of each chapter. You will also be invited to share your comments and suggestions for improving the training.
The training is 3 and 5 hours in duration, depending on the modules completed:

- 3 hours – Introduction and modules 1 to 3 (suggested for all)
- 5 hours – Introduction and modules 1 to 6 (suggested for managers)
In order to receive a certificate of completion, you must complete the evaluations associated with the 3-hour or 5-hour training modules and achieve the passing score indicated on each evaluation. The last three modules are available as complementary modules that can be accessed individually in any order. If you complete all six modules, a certificate with credits for the 5-hour training will be awarded.
Both versions of the training are accredited with the Canadian College of Health Leaders.
